Everything is ready for the event dedicated to the students of the Italian Design Institute's master's course in Car Design.

The appointment with the Take Off Daythe event dedicated to the young aspiring car designers, students of the master organised by the training organisation Italian Design Institute.
Now in its fourth year, the kermesse will once again have as its prestigious location the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modenain a kind of concluding moment of the training course, attended at the Turin Automobile Museum.

This will also be an opportunity for budding car designers to present the projects they were able to work on during the exclusive master's degree in Car Design from IDI.
The theme assigned to the students, divided into 4 groups, is Ferrari Berlinettaa type of sports car that knows no crisis, just think of the examples of Jaguar, Mercedes, Aston Martin, and of course Ferrari.
Models such as the 250 SWB or the 250 GTO have become legendary and, in more recent times, Ferrari has produced examples such as the F 550 Maranello, the F12 Berlinetta and, most recently, the F 812 Superfast.

The task of the students was, guided by the teachers and car designer prominent Maurizio Corbi for the stylistic part and Marco Amadio for the three-dimensional modelling part, that of realising a future generation of this type of car.

Turning an eye to the past but certainly thinking of the near future, they tried their hand at a modern, original and innovative work, trying to avoid assonances too close to the Superfast. Not an easy task but certainly a very stimulating one. In this, they were supported by the technical knowledge and skills acquired during the master's course and by the help of the 3D model of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.

Present at Take Off Day 2019which will start at 3 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. on Saturday 4 May, in addition to the course students, there will be teachers, parents, Italian Design Institute project manager Dr. Tania Sette and, as a special guest, the clay modeller Mauro Savarino.

IDI's Master's degree in Car Design.

This is an exclusive course that aims to provide students with all the necessary tools to create a automotive project complete, from concept to 3D rendering and scale models.
Participants specialise in car design, in the design of car bodies, bodyshells, light fittings, interior accessories and finishing elements, acquiring specific skills, able to dialogue with different actors and to move outside the classic logic of the market, requiring technological and production skills, as well as basic project management skills.
