I-Pace Jaguar's electric SUV scooped the awards in New York. The car from the British stable not only won the title of World Car of the Year 2019was also elected World Car Design of the Year e World Green Car. Titles won by beating major competition such as theAudi e-tron and the Volvo S60/V60. The prizes were awarded during the New York Salon.
There were initially 40 cars competing for the prize, later reduced to three (those mentioned above) announced during the Geneva Motor Show.
