The "Open House Milan 2018", the event that the sites of interest architectural visited as part of its third edition.
Not only theatres, buildings of historical importance or reclaimed industrial complexes: also included in the kermesse are places of worship, theatres and performance spaces, private residences, artists' studios, museums, contemporary art galleries, parks and peripheral areas returned to the community with a new architectural dignity.
The event, organised thanks to the collaboration between theOrder of Architects of Milan and its Foundationin addition to numerous spontaneous adhesions, leads to the discovery of the best buildings in cities, starting with Milan, with over 100 palaces where one can admire the great architecture of Milan.
The international initiative, born in London in 1992, currently involves 37 cities around the world, enriching itself, precisely in Milan, with some novelties, such as the extension of the visit routes outside the city boundaries.
A week ahead of theRome Open House is the city of Turin, where the event will kick off on 9 and 10 June 2018.
Many new thematic routes, including one dedicated to the peripheries and their rehabilitation and the social acceptance of spaces, and another focusing on openness towards all religious denominations. Open House 2018 will also give the opportunity to visit the Al Wahid Mosque and the Synagogue Beth Shlomo, which are among the addresses on theSacred architecture.
