The objective of the Course in Visual Merchandising is to create complete professionals in the field of Visual
Merchandising, able to design in-store display spaces and shop windows with the aim of directing the
purchasing behaviour of the end customer. Maximising the profitability of a shop's display space is possible through the skilful arrangement of products and creating experiences, now also phygital. The new generations with whom we dialogue create new challenges so knowing how to adapt the digital experience to the traditional is of paramount importance. The Visual Merchandising figure is in charge of managing constant change, anticipating or following the trends of the moment and aligning with marketing strategies. The course also promotes the role of the visual merchandiser as a professional figure who collaborates with the stylist and photographer in the creation of images for e-commerce and social media. Through the display set up, it will be possible to immerse oneself for two days in the practice of display design aimed at the traditional shop, for online and social media.

TEACHERS

She graduated in Architecture at the Liceo Artistico Pinot Gallizio in 2008 and then moved to Milan to attend Fashion Styling courses at the Istituto Marangoni where she graduated in 2011. Since 2013 she has been working at Fendi Srl as Visual Merchandiser Accessories and Kids specialist. In addition to managing the creation of the VM Guidelines and supporting the interior and window displays in Fendi shops worldwide, Linda has contributed to the opening of several shops such as Palazzo Fendi Roma, Dubai Mall Kids and Shanghai Plaza 66. In 2015, Fendi's Head Quarter office was relocated to the beautiful Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana and together with colleagues she participated in the creation of the VM office. Pride of the team and the company given the incredible creativity within the walls of the visual merchandising office. In 2016 he took part in setting up the showroom that hosted one of the most important collections for the Roman company, the Haute Couture for Fendi's 90th anniversary presented on a special catwalk above the Trevi Fountain. In 2023, his role within Fendi changed to become VM Training &CommunicationSpecialist. In this way, she took care of the training of Visual Merchandisers with specially designed training based on the collections presented in the showroom. Linda has grown professionally within Fendi by actively participating in some of the most interesting and creative challenges that the company has proposed to the fashion industry.

She has more than 20 years' experience in the Visual Merchandising industry as a freelance consultant, lecturer and true strategist in the discipline. Her multidisciplinary perspective and strong passion for this sector allow her to be constantly updated about the evolution of Visual Merchandising and active in the fashion industry, or wherever her skills can
be applied. Enrica Melotto has worked with Yves Saint Laurent, Celine and several other brands. She has worked on special installations for TELE+ (Venice Film Festival) and Trudi and has been involved in the training of visual personnel of international companies including Diesel Italia and OVS.
