Sonia Luongo is much more than a wedding planner: passionate about travel and nature, she is an established floral designer. Thanks to her empathy and sensitivity, she is able to elaborate ad hoc compositions and arrangements for every type of event. Winner of the eco-friendly wedding award at the EWCP Congress, she attends the Engage Summits every year, meeting the most famous planners and designers. About 10 years ago she started with specialisation courses in relation to wedding planning, becoming a certified wedding planner and learning everything about the world of events at 360 degrees. She later got into floral design thanks to her mentor, Karen Tran. She attended 'The Floral Experience' masterclass in Puglia organised by the American designer. From here, her passion for the floral world began to grow more and more, she started to follow Karen until she became the planner of the Designer's masterclass in Rome herself after a short time. Taking her first steps in this field, she continued to attend various specialisation courses, becoming a lecturer in the wedding sector. Until, six years ago, she founded her own company, the Sonia Luongo Luxury Event. The company is made up of a diverse team, she herself knows the world of events and set-ups in all its facets and phases, therefore, she personally takes care of both the design and set-up part. Sonia finds her inspiration by living real, everyday life, travelling, driving around, taking trips out of town, taking inspiration from nature itself, but also by constantly updating herself by attending congresses, meetings and fairs around the world. Hers is a very soft style, she herself defines it as Natural: "I like to make juxtapositions between different types of plants and particular flowers, I never create linear compositions. I always tell my team 'if you make a mix you never make a mistake'.
