IDI's specialisation in Olfactive Design for residential and commercial spaces is a vocational training course that will enable you to learn the various techniques related to the practice of setting up an environment with fragrances and to suggest olfactory furnishing solutions when designing interiors.

The emerging figure of the Olfactive Designer is responsible for setting up environments based on the sense of smell, making fragrances a component closely linked to materials, shapes, colours and furnishings with the aim of providing an all-round design service. More and more brands, hotels, professional studios, spas and gyms are moving towards the creation of their own identifying fragrance in order to establish a profound connection with the emotional-sensorial sphere of their customers, just as in luxury design too there is now a move towards personalising the scent of each living environment so as to make the daily experience comfortable, welcoming and different in every room.

During the specialisation, it will be possible to delve into various topics aimed at defining the scope of application of olfactory design.
