The Master in Yacht Design Online aims to train professionals capable of governing the design and construction process of a yacht, from concept to the modelling and rendering of the vessel.

The Master in Interior Yacht Design by IDI is a vocational training course that will enable you to learn advanced naval interior design techniques, learning how to manage a project in all its phases, from concept, to the choice of materials, to 2D technical drawing up to 3D graphic restitution.

Job opportunities

The aim of the Master in Interior Yacht Design Online is to train professionals to apply the techniques and tools of naval architecture to the most innovative design.
The knowledge acquired during the master's course will allow them to successfully exercise their profession, entering the production world as freelancers or within the shipbuilding industry, in professional offices or shipyard technical offices and in the management of production and quality control processes.
A degree in architecture, industrial design or related subjects is a requirement for the selection of candidates. Applications from graduates with proven experience in the naval sector will also be evaluated.

Designer with opposing passions ranging from a love of vintage and classic cars to a fascination for new technologies. He has collaborated with Arch. Marco Amadio on numerous Nautical, Automotive and Architectural projects. He is currently technical office manager of the M/Y AQUAVIRGO 160 Explorer Yacht project. In recent years he has been working with his group MDA SCULPT on the design of the new C-Cat range for C-Catamarans and other projects related to the world of Yachting and E-Carshairing. Lecturer in Modelling Rhinoceros_Vray 1st and 2nd, Lumion and Adobe Premier at various institutes and universities.

A lecturer at La Sapienza faculty in Rome on the Industrial Design degree course, Marco Amadio has long been involved in mould-making processes in thermosetting materials. A consultant and designer for industries in the Transportation Design sector, he deals with the creation of 3D models and optimisation processes in the production of moulds for series production. He has received several awards in the field of Naval Design, with the Verve 36 project, realised for the Azimut Benetti group, and the Boat of the Year Award 2010. Marco Amadio is a materials expert and ARTC MCNEEL.


Member of the Society of Naval Architect and Marine Engineers and the American Society of Naval Engineers, Stefano Milanesi started his professional career in this field in 1997, working on the design of pleasure boats for companies in Southern Italy. He first held the position of Production Manager for Conam Spato continue as a naval architecture and structural design consultant for Victory Design Srl. In 2007, he founded Navaldesign & Consulting Srl, consisting of engineers and architects who provide design consultancy (structural, naval architecture, interior and exterior design) for various types of boats up to 50 metres. Among the various awards, he won the 2010 Boat of the Year award and the MYDA 2008, with the boats Wake 46 e D555.
