Master in textile design - innovative fashion

Master in textile design - innovative fashion

in cooperation with Achille Pinto - Como

Training course

IDI's innovative training pathway in Textile Design, in a blended formula, is an advanced master's degree that, through a didactic approach that is as close as ever to the realities of business, aims to create an increasingly in-demand figure of Fashion/Textile designers who, equipped with an all-round professional culture, are able to combine technical skills in materials and graphics with the construction of final forms, thanks to the glue of colour and an understanding of predictive trends. The lecturers, competent professionals in the sector, will face with the students a transversal path of "worlds and fashions", of great emotional impact, as well as functional and logistical, where emotion precedes and then significantly translates into ideas. The alternation of online and face-to-face lessons, with "immersions" in real working activity, aims to build "work tables" differentiated by professionalism and sectors, thanks to the cognitive and communicative power achieved. Visits by illustrious testimonials and company approaches are envisaged, preluding a form of internship preparatory to concrete insertion in work activities, connecting this with one's talent and propensity. The students will thus be enabled to put into practice the skills acquired in the realisation of a stylistic/professional project work, focused on the translation and effective consolidation of the notions acquired. At the end of the experiences, thus broadened and transversal, the students will be able to design personal and original ideas, expressing both their stylistic and technical creativity.

The aim of the Master's programme in textile design - innovative fashion of the Italian Design Institute is to train professionals in the field of textiles, design and prints.

It is a professional figure who is of fundamental support to the creative direction in designing the collections.
