It is called Eos 46such as the goddess of Dawn belonging to Greek mythology, and won the 2018 award as "Powerboat of the year". Built in Sabaudia by the EMG Marineat the construction site of San Donato (recently built), is a jewel of the design daring, which also stands out for its high technical performance. And it is precisely from the exclusive lines that a comfortable environment comes to life, inside which the view opens onto two large cabins with two bathrooms and separate showers. Six beds in total, with the possibility of accommodating as many as 12 people on board.
Eos 46 is a symbol of the craftsmanship tradition of Italian shipbuilding. The quality of the materials, an absolute symbol of Made in Italy, allowed the Sabaudia boat to be awarded the prize during the last Genoa Boat Show. It is a 14.40 metre long and 4.76 metre wide walkaround. The concept of this boat is based on the 'reduction' of certain comforts to make room for the security. With a speed maximum speed of 35 knots (cruising speed is 28 knots), the 'goddess of the seas' is designed for the international market.
In choosing Eos as Motor Boat of the Year, the "generous" aft cockpit with fully equipped galley, a very spacious sunbathing area at the bow, and a relaxation area at the far bow with comfortable seating, to enjoy the sea horizon from the boat's best point, were in all likelihood also taken into account. According to the pages of Il Messaggero, the idea of the project manager, Francesco Miliawas to create this jewel either in Italy or abroad. The choice was then made for Italy, and specifically for the San Donato factory, where the Eos 46 came to life in just one year. At the moment only one example has been created, but it seems that negotiations are already underway to produce four or five more identical boats. The request is said to have come from a well-known Italian haute couture entrepreneur.
