This course explores the influences, impact of social media and the phenomenon of fashion blogging within the fashion and luxury industries. Participants will discover how fashion companies are working to integrate bloggers, influencers and social media experts within their organisations to promote brand visibility, using the potential of the interactive social media 'user' as a powerful means of communication. They will learn about the role of social media marketing, its influence on the relationship between brands and their consumers and understand how communication has changed over time through social networks, online magazines, webinars, web blogs, social blogs, forums and wikis, to name a few. The course offers an international overview of the activities, characteristics and trends of a successful 'fashion blog'.

The course aims to guide you in the creation of a fashion blog, a valuable tool from a business point of view, providing you with the elements to elaborate content and define an effective editorial plan. You will learn how to write effective articles, following the rules of copywriting and offering readers quality content. You will also learn how to structure a blog in such a way as to achieve specific goals such as: communication between company and customer, brand awareness, customer care, etc.

The course is aimed at students and professionals who wish to be autonomous in the creation of a Social Media Strategy, to work as freelancers for a package of clients or to propose themselves to large companies and multinationals in the sector in the roles of Social Media Manager and Digital Specialist.

What you will learn

Through the analysis of successful case studies you will be guided in the definition of a blog format and the production and selection of content for its customisation. The course analyses the main communication tools used by luxury fashion brands to promote their products and strengthen their notoriety on the market. In particular, the various social networks and the role of influencers will be analysed to understand why these communication tools have become increasingly important in recent years.

  • Influencer marketing campaigns
  • The criteria fashion brands must take into account when selecting influencers

MODULE 3

Why has Tiktok changed all the rules of the (social) game? How Tiktok works, how it has influenced and radically changed all other social and how to make winning videos (on tiktok but not only).

  • Overview of Tiktok and differences with reels, pin ideas and YouTube shorts

  • What are the winning video types? The 3i rule
  • Tools and tips: how to write a video script and how to edit it
  • Winning Creators: when do they work and why? Case studies and live guest speakers
