This jewel is owned by the Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Originally designed as a project for Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei by the Blohm + Voss and Lurssen shipyards, it was inaugurated in 2006 and is the second longest yacht in the world (162 m).
It has a sunbathing area, a jacuzzi, a large swimming pool (with handmade tiles), a squah court and even a heliport to accommodate a helicopter of up to 9.5 tonnes. A 5-star yacht, with interiors by French designer Philippe Starcke, that can accommodate up to 115 people plus 88 crew members.

Owned by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nayan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Emir of Abu Dhabi. This super yacht was built in three years by the German shipyard Lürssen Yacht after a year of planning and collaboration between the Milanese studio Nauta Design, Christophe Leoni and Burgess. At 180 metres long, she is the largest private yacht in the world and, despite her size, she is also very fast: in fact, she reaches a speed of around 35 mph.

3. Streets of Monaco
In third place on the list of the world's most expensive yachts is the world's most extravagant yacht. The aim of the project is to reconstruct a section of Monte Carlo. Designed by the British studio Island Yacht Design, it represents a floating island, equipped with swimming pools, tennis courts, bars with an underwater view, a mini waterfall, helicopters and a submarine as well as a mini racetrack, a replica of the Formula 1 circuit in Monte Carlo. In addition, not to be missed, Monaco's most famous landmarks, namely, the Casino de Monte Carlo, the Hotel de Paris, La Rascasse, Loews Hotes and the Cafe de Paris, are reproduced on a smaller scale. It features seven suites and a penthouse on the 3rd floor for the owner.

2. Eclipse
The second largest yacht in the world (it is 162.5 metres long), the Eclipse of Russian businessman and Chelsea chairman Roman Abramovich, is also second in the ranking of the world's most expensive yachts. Built by the German company Blohm + Voss of Hamburg, this gem boasts two helicopter platforms, a submarine, 24 guest cabins, two swimming pools, Jacuzzis and a disco. But the ship's special feature is its security system: the Eclipse is equipped with a missile defence system, an intrusion detection system and an anti-paparazzi system, which can prevent photos being taken by dazzling the camera lenses.

The owner remained anonymous, but turns out to be a Malaysian businessman who shelled out the hefty sum of € 4.2 billion. Designed in three years by British designer Stuart Hughes, it is particularly expensive because the ship is assembled in gold and platinum, more precisely 100,000 kg of gold and platinum.
The master bedroom has a piece of wall made of meteorites, a statue of T-Rex bones, a 68 kg 24 carat gold Aquavista Panoramic Wall Aquarium and a bottle of liquor with an 18.5 ct diamond, costing €42 million.
