Shoulder bags, backpacks, women's clutches, trunks, bucket bags or tote bags: these are the novelties of the year for the sector, protagonists of the latest fashion shows from Milan to Paris and London.
Mini shoulder bags
Among the bag design trends 2017 - 2018 there are them, the mini shoulder bags, a must-have for the season, in both mini and maxi versions.
We will see them embellished with glittering crystals and small enough to fit just the make-up necessities, or really maxi, as satchels in fur or exotic leather, to be carried in the hand.
Furry bag: the furry bag is all the rage
On the catwalks of Milan, the fur bag is the star: from Prada to Fendi and Max Mara, furry, soft, colourful shoulder bags of all sizes and shapes are going crazy.
Ready-to-wear irony
This season the bag design It winks at irony, playfulness and fun, and does so by bringing bizarrely shaped bags to the catwalk, such as those that look like toilet paper rolls (Moschino) or clutches in the form of dustbins, Jeremy Scott's TV bag or Anya Hindmarch's playful bags that play with colourful appliqués and cartoon charms.
All a matter of geometry
For winter, bags become geometric or boxy: they are compact mini shoulder bags, sometimes embellished with small, significant details such as fringes or lettering.
