CampusX Rome
CampusX, a beautiful and super-equipped urban structure based on the US student housing model, will be the venue for the Roman edition of the Master's degree course in Interior Design, which will take place from 13 to 25 March. The choice of Campus X is due to the high quality of the structure and its not only constructive but also conceptual modernity.
Inaugurated in October 2010, Campus X covers an area of 50,000 square metres, of which 15,000 are reserved for green spaces and cycle paths. There are 1,540 beds in 17 buildings built in an architectural style that harmoniously blends functional requirements and the need for eco-sustainability. Solar thermal and solar panels cover the 70% of hot water production and street lighting on the campus.
The services that the facility makes available to its guests are manylaundry room, restaurant, market, free wi-fi, fitness areas, 24-hour security. Plus, of course, study rooms and auditorium security. A shuttle bus service also connects the facility with the nearby metro station, which leads quickly to the centre of Rome.
International atmosphere
But one of the highlights of Campus X is the international and multi-ethnic ambience of the common rooms and meeting places, where one can breathe in a cosmopolitan and intellectually stimulating atmosphere. Campus X was in fact created as a residence for students at the University of Tor Vergata, the capital's second university designed to offer a totally different study experience from the chaotic, confusing and dispersed environment of the La Sapienza university. Tor Vergata was therefore born just off the ring road, in a functional, well-connected green area and designed to meet all students' needs.
Today all this is also available to students of our Master in Interior Design.
