Interior Design: 8 stairs to another level

Index

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Non bisogna essere fortunati proprietari di appartamenti a due piani per apprezzare questa gallery of staircases designed by authentic interior design talents. The classic theme of interior architecture, the staircase joining two levels - widely used in professional offices, villas and flats with very high ceilings - is interpreted in an original and evocative way by some of the most interesting signatures on the current world design scene.

Ribbon model. Designed by HSH Architects of Prague, it is made of painted steel in two colours that contribute to an innovative yet functional form. Easy to assemble and sure-footed. Not recommended for families with children and office workers always in a hurry.

Uonuon model. From the Modenese studio 14 ora italiana a staircase that combines a grey stoneware tread with a coloured wood-like stoneware riser inspired by the works of Andy Warhol. Colourful, fun, non-conformist. Particularly suitable for the offices of creative companies.

Grove Park Project. A glass and metal creation by renowned London-based Bell Phillips Architects, a staircase that draws a complex geometry of folded triangular surfaces that seem to float in space.

Model M Loft. Step into the loft with style and originality. The proposal by New York studio NC2 stands out for its alternating steps and optimisation of available space. Wood lends warmth to a minimalist, angular design.

Steelnet model. Original use of expanded steel mesh, which creates a continuum between riser and tread, giving the feeling of walking on fabric. In addition, light can filter through from the upper floor unhindered. Further confirmation of the great talent of the Dutch designer Rowin Petersma.

Suspended model. Minimalism at its most elegant for this staircase in the famous Godzilla House, designed by Seoul-based Chae-Pereira Architects. Leaning against a curved wall and partially suspended by steel rods, this masterpiece of interior design is illuminated by hidden windows that seem to emerge from the wall.

Spiral model. An inspiration we could certainly call Gaudist for this organically shaped spiral staircase, which from below resembles a bone structure and from above a flower with many petals. On the borderline between design and art.

Sensualscaping model. An interpretation of the theme that breaks away from everything we have seen so far, a voluptuous play of surfaces and lines that does not allow the eye to tear itself away. A masterpiece by the London studio Atmos that sets new standards in interior design.
