After graduating in Architecture, Antonio Bugna collaborated with the Citterio and Ottavio Di Blasi studios, while simultaneously teaching at the Milan Polytechnic. In 1991, he opened his own professional studio in Bari, where in addition to his design work, he also works as a consultant for national companies.
He received awards in the 'International Competition for the new headquarters of the Municipality of Bari in the area of the former gasometer' and second prize in the 'International Competition Bari Centrale'. Dedicated to the search for detail and the personal characterisation of the project, he works through an integrated design, declining his own style and adapting it to the needs of the project, approaching each work as an opportunity for research.
