Stefano Mengoli, graduated in Forest Sciences at the University of Florence and in Landscape Architecture at the Sapienza University of Rome, his areas of interest are: urban green, green design and environmental recovery. He specialized in urban green management at the Municipal Parks and Gardens Institute of Barcelona, studied global service systems for green urban, analytical methods to implement the quality of green spaces and new experimental green formulas for the city. He assumed the role of a Commissioner for the award of contracts of green tenders for metropolitan cities. During his research and design work, he has observed various themes, from garden roads to the study of green eco-neighborhoods, to include ecological nature tourist circuits. The experience of botanical curator of historic gardens led him to study the composition formula of the botanical biopark as an amusement park and vertical gardens, he also dealt with the recovery of historical trees and the creation of an ornamental park starting from a holm oak forest . Stefano Mengoli is the author of numerous publications about urban and architectural green and has edited, for the publishing house Il Sole 24 ORE Business Media Srl, the book FARE VERDE URBANO, a volume on green urban planning in Italy.
