Laura Rubino graduated in Naples with 110/110 cum laude with a thesis on the Cineteca Regionale in Giffoni Valle Piana (SA). During her university years she worked as a set designer and worked in the furniture sector. In 1992 she enrolled in the National Institute of Bioarchitecture and had the opportunity to meet and discuss with arch. Ugo Sasso and with designers from the German and English schools on bio-architecture. She opened her professional studio in 1994. She was responsible for a Bioedile centre for disseminating and raising awareness of bio-architecture and developed an in-depth knowledge of ecological materials, application problems and technical performance aspects. She designs sustainable interventions and environmental sustainability certification for public administration and private clients with a focus on environmental quality, energy performance, and lighting technology. He deals with green infrastructure and landscape design. Design is a passion that he cultivates to experiment with the use of ecological and recycled materials and finishes. She is scientific director of courses and masters on bio-architecture and planning and lecturer and speaker at conferences and courses on sustainability.
