Only two days to go until Take Off Daythe appointment dedicated to young people car designers who are students of the Italian Design Insitute.
Serving as a showcase for the eagerly awaited event will be the prestigious Enzo Ferrari museum complex of excellence in Modenawhere on Saturday 17th two groups of students from the Master in Car Design of IDIwith the support of the lecturers Maurizio Corbi and Marco Amadiowill present their projects.
The track assigned to the boys has as its subject the Ferrari GTC4 LussoIt is a car that is absolutely out of the box in terms of its technical content, its four-wheel drive and its architecture. We have to admit that we are not dealing with one of the most beautiful Ferraris, so much so that many Ferrari customers turned up their noses at its appearance!
So you may ask why this model for our course?
Because anomalies can be a source of great inspiration.
Designing a Ferrari so far removed from the stereotypes that populate our imagination can only be a very exciting challenge. The mission of the work is to imagine a new generation GTC4 E with a hybrid engine to be presented to the market in five years' time. What we want is an innovative car with absolutely original solutions: we won't need big frontal vents or big air intakes/outlets but a real concept car.
