Let's talk about women and jewellery: the fashion design is becoming increasingly trendy and theaccessory acquires a new preciousness, no longer dictated by the material it is made of, but by the design it expresses. The jewel becomes a way to describe a style, to convey personality and an approach to vitamins or simply the mood of the moment. In fashion designthe accessory becomes minimal in its lines: geometric, square, with almost mathematical proportions, rigorously weighted in its structure. It is the contemporary that dictates the rules and jewellery becomes a work of art and design, a unique and exclusive object, a 'dress' to wear, a way of expressing oneself.
In Milan, jewellery is art
The latest edition of Artistar Jewels a Palazzo dei Giureconsulti a Milan. During Fashion Week, jewellery also took centre stage, with 140 artists and designers exhibiting more than 400 pieces of jewellery. The concepts of essentiality and art predominated, while materials, no longer necessarily precious, took second place. It is the shapes that make the difference and, above all, tell stories that are worn, flaunted and speak of a contemporary present, eccentric, courageous, extravagant.
The photovoltaic ring by Gianni De Benedictis
It is called New Energy Ring the jewel designed by the young designer Salento Gianni De Benedittisfounder of the brand FutureRemote.
