Important news for all fans of the Mini. The British car manufacturer, in fact, presented the 'Mini Yours Customised"with which you can customise your car down to the smallest detail.
A further step forward for the first brand that truly believed in the philosophy of the "customisation"at the beginning of the 21st century.
The customisations characteristic of the Mini will remain, but others chosen directly by the customer may be added to them.
Mini Yours Customised: the customisable parts
The Side Scuttles
Among the easiest parts to customise are the Side Scuttlescoloured indicator inserts. They are available in five colours (white, red, black and two silver variants) and can be fitted on 3-door, 5-door and Convertible.
The dashboard panel
The front passenger dashboard panel can also be customised in five colours: white, red, blue, grey and black. Available for 3-door, 5-door and Convertible
The illuminated door sill and LED under-door lights
Course program Mini Yours Customised even allows the illuminated door sill of the 3-door, 5-door Mini to be characterised, Convertible e Clubman through laser engraving.
The customisation of the LED headlights for the courtesy lights on the doors is particular: it will be possible to reproduce texts or one's own signature on the tarmac when opening the doors.
To configure your car, simply log on to the online shop created specifically for the programme Yours Customised. There you will be able to draw, choose and sort the pieces, write texts, insert your own signature, or choose from the icons and designs with various themes (travel, leisure, sports, etc.) preset by the programme.
The new product range is manufactured at the carmaker's German plants, using innovative procedures such as 3D printing and laser lettering. The 3D printers were configured by the BMW Group specifically for this programme and also thanks to partnerships with companies Hewlett-Packard Inc., Carbon Inc. e EOS GmbH. Each individual part is designed in such a way that it can also be assembled by the customer himself (in addition to the Mini Service) and the parts will be available in a few weeks.
