Phases of the course

  • Preparatory lessons: texts + online platform
  • Classroom phase: 40 hours of which 24 online (
    online from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on 21, 22, 25 March 2022, 28, 29 March and 1 April 2022 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
    8 and 9 April in presence in Milan (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.).

Fill out the information request form and we will contact you within a few days. In the selection of candidates the scholastic CV, work experience and motivational letter will be considered. It is possible and advisable to send a portfolio of previous works. The examining commission, considering these elements, will communicate the result of the selection and the admission to the Course by filling the application form.

Training course

Lo Short Master in Art Direction: Identity Building & Image Making is configured as an innovative training course that will outline a pivotal professional figure in fashion communication. The programme represents an opportunity for the various traditional fashion figures to draw on the knowledge and techniques required today for the development of the Brand Identity and the creation of a visual brand style. In particular, the course focuses on the multidisciplinary figure of theArt Director.
Today this professional collaborates with brands and individual realities in the creation of an identity through the study and analysis of trends, the definition of a communicative style and the various expressions of creativity such as the styling and editing of a collection, the editorial and commercial photo shoot, the brand mix, the buying process and numerous strategic choices of off and online communication indispensable to achieve the brand mission together with an all-round style coherence.

Job opportunities

The search for the professional figure of the Art Direction is today growing exponentially, as is the digital business, which represents the future of the fashion scene. Through a balance between theoretical content and the practical development of a photo shoot, the student will implement the search for a style and a visual concept for the realisation of the photo shoot together with a professional photographer. This confrontation will serve the student as a realistic approach to the world of work, which increasingly needs professional figures of this type. The training course is aimed at Web Designers, Content Creators, Social Media Managers, Fashion Buyers, In-Store Stylists, Fashion Consultants, and all those who wish to acquire skills in the world of Art Direction, Styling and the production of images in the editorial and commercial field.
