Sergio Nisticò – Student of the Interior Design Master IDI

My decision to dedicate myself to Interior Design came after giving up a boring job and spending a sabbatical year travelling around three continents, enriching my vision with the contribution of different cultures and clear ideas about my talent and dreams. I decided to return to Italy to attend the Master in Interior Design organised by the Italian Design Institute. At IDI, I consolidated the basic theoretical concepts, confronted the high quality of teaching, and produced my first independent projects, thus learning the professional methodology that helped me complete my transformation into a professional designer with creativity. I have combined practicality and reliability for the client and my professional maturity has been highlighted by the upward curve of my studio based first in Brisbane - Australia - and now in Spain in Alicante.
On my website www.interiordesignsn.com all my projects are defined in every detail and told through high quality images and renderings, from which my style and expertise can be deduced. Passion for Design

I obtained my Master's Degree from the IUAV University of Venice in 2016 in Planning and Policies for the Territory, the City and the Environment - Environment curriculum - with a thesis entitled "The Artificialisation of the Landscape: Quarry Landscapes in a Regeneration Perspective".
During my studies, I participated in a series of workshops and a six-month international Master's degree at the University of Architecture in Lisbon, experiences that allowed me to deepen my knowledge and experiment with new methods of landscape and land design. I have always been fascinated by everything related to the redevelopment of urban spaces, the restoration of degraded places and the recovery of abandoned areas. I am interested in the transformations involving territorial, social and environmental issues, and I have long deepened my knowledge in relation to the design of green areas: which plant species and the ways in which they are placed within urban contexts in order to create spaces that take into account aspects relating to environmental sustainability, but also and above all the possibility of increasing the degree of climate mitigation and adaptation, to combat the atmospheric phenomena that increasingly occur within our cities.
I am curious to understand, study, plan and design the stages of the processes of realisation or revitalisation of the territory, in order to propose concrete solutions capable of integrating with the territorial context in which they will be inserted.

I graduated with a three-year degree in Architectural Sciences and Techniques from the G. D'Annunzio University of Pescara in 2006. I have always cultivated my creativity and spirit of observation, trying to create something truly new and original. In nautical interior design, I have found my great vocation, which allows me to best express myself through drawing, my passion since I was a child.
I think it best represents an old nautical saying: 'He who does not venture out, has no fortune'.

Cristina F. – Student of the Yacht Design Master IDI

In 2016 I finished university by graduating in Architecture with a thesis on the interior design of a boat. Driven by a great passion for boating, I decided to continue the path with a Master in Interior Yacht Design. During the master's course I acquired and consolidated both technical and personal knowledge and met with experts in the field, absorbing as much knowledge as I could. After the theoretical classroom phase, I had the opportunity to do an internship at a naval technical office. It was a wonderful and highly formative experience. At the same time, I attended graphic design, modelling and rendering courses.
My aspiration is to work for studios or shipyards, launching new ideas and new ways of looking at design, creating something unique and new through hard teamwork.

In May 2016 I graduated with honors in Interior and Product Design at the "Italian Academy" in Rome. The subject of my thesis was the urban redevelopment of the former industrial area of Rome and subsequent conversion into a co-housing solidarity neighborhood: Sharing as a means to create a more sustainable society. During my studies I became familiar with using different 2D and 3D modeling software, post-rendering and graphics programs.
Later I worked as an Interior Designer at the Sweet Inn company Sweet Inn in Rome. During my working career I have been able to put into practice the knowledge acquired in a challenging environment, which has allowed me to grow professionally. In 2017 I decided to attend the Masters in Interior Yacht Design, intrigued by the naval world and the new technologies and materials. The Master at theItalian Design Institute has helped make my Interior Designer profile more complete, thanks to an educational plan that allowed me to touch the mechanisms and problems of ship design.
I am a determined and precise girl, I try to face every new challenge with grit. I have an excellent knowledge of the English language and the software I use for modelling are Rhinoceros, V-ray e Maxwell. For the presentation of my projects and for post-production I use theAdobe Suite. Always looking for new challenges, I aspire to work in a young and dynamic environment where I can apply all the knowledge acquired during my years of study.
