Job opportunities

The Maker or 3D Printer is a multifaceted figure, who can find work in the most diverse sectors. The demands of professionals in this field come from design and furnishing studies, from the high-tech and building industry, as well as from the biomedical and catering sectors. The high-tech and building industry, as well as from the biomedical and catering sectors. However, it would be impossible to limit the fields of application of 3D printing, because it is a profession that embraces every field of craftsmanship, product design andhacking things, espousing a philosophy Open Source underlying the post-industrial economy, where a project (or blueprint) can travel thousands of kilometers simply via an internet connection, being printed and therefore produced directly at the plant closest to the final customer.

Training course

3D Printing specialization course

The Specialization Course in 3D Printing will teach you to create custom prototypes with 3D printing, using methodological and technological tools provided by the teachers during the course. This course has been designed for all sector passionates, especially for designers want to give shape to their projects and their ideas, from concept to matter. Today, 3D printing is an increasingly used technique, which finds applications in many sectors: from biomedical to food, from rapid prototyping for design toself-construction (or hackingof objects.Learning about the techniques, materials and new possibilities for using 3D printing gives students and professionals the opportunity to have more control and awareness of their work. The participants will print their 3D models, acquiring technical knowledge about the printing process, materials, Cad/Cam conversion and finishing techniques of the realized mold.
The Specialization Course in 3D Printing is aimed at students and designers, architects and engineers, artisans and companies operating in the field of project/product, but also to who have a strong interest in technological and process innovation. This full-immersion course provides passionates of creation, 3D printing, rapid prototyping, knowledge economics, programmed electronics and Open Source implementation software in their everyday work using the latest 3D modeling and printing technologies.
A course opened also to unemployed subjects / N.E.E.T. who want to retrain and get closer to the technological-scientific world.
