The Master in Product Design is aimed at graduates in architecture, industrial design, engineering, design and applied arts students or related subjects and candidates who have gained significant professional experience in the sector.
The knowledge acquired during this training course will allow you to exercise your profession successfully, entering the market as freelancers, or in the design or craft industry, in product design design studios.
Among the job opportunities the future product desiner could work in areas of technical production for the design of industrial products, design as a technical designer, CAD designer, assistance in researching materials and technical components, project assistance in the development of conceptual solutions and in executive design.

The examining commission, considering these elements, will communicate the result of the selection and the admission to the Course.

L’obiettivo del Master in Product Design IDI è formare un professionista completo nel settore della progettazione del prodotto, in grado di realizzare diverse tipologie di oggetti a seconda dei diversi materiali utilizzati in ambito industriale e in ambito artigianale, attraverso prototipazioni grafiche e computerizzate, senza mai perdere di vista le tendenze e i gusti dominanti sul mercato. Lo studente farà sua una solida metodologia progettuale, che partendo da valori etici, sociali e di sostenibilità gli permetteranno di avere un pensiero progettuale strategico.

The student will have a global and concrete perception of the changes taking place on the market, he will learn to anticipate new trends. Among the spaces that fall within the scope of activity of the Product Designer, in addition to the more traditional ones related to the industrial world such as furnishing accessories, lamps, utensils and household appliances, the handicraft products made with the use have gained great attention. of traditional materials such as ceramics, fabrics, paper and wood.These materials are used by the Product Designer to put into practice their technical and stylistic know-how and to meet the needs of corporate communication and product marketing.
