IDI's Master in Interior Yacht Design Online is a professional training course that will enable you to learn advanced techniques in naval interior design, learning how to manage a project in all its phases, from the concept, to the choice of materials, to 2D technical drawing up to 3D graphic rendering.

THE TRAINING COURSE

The Master in Interior Yacht Design offers a comprehensive and hands-on training experience aimed at shaping the next generation of professionals in the field of yacht interior design. The course covers all aspects of yacht interior design, from space planning and material selection to lighting and furniture design, combining creative vision with technical expertise. Students will work on real-world projects, gaining valuable insight into the specific requirements of yacht interiors while learning to navigate industry standards and sustainability practices. Students will be equipped with the skills to design innovative, functional, and aesthetically exceptional yacht interiors.

Who is it addressed to?

The aim of the Master in Interior Yacht Design Online is to train professionals capable of applying the techniques and tools of naval architecture to the most innovative design.
The knowledge acquired during the Master will allow the successful practice of the profession, entering the productive world as freelancers or within the naval industry, in professional studios or shipyard technical offices and in the management of production and quality control processes.
A degree in architecture, industrial design or related subjects is a requirement for the selection of candidates. Applications from graduates with proven experience in the naval
sector will also be evaluated.

The aim of the Master's course in Interior Yacht Design is to train professionals capable of applying the techniques and tools of naval architecture to the most innovative design, who are able to follow a project in its various aspects, interacting with other figures starting from the conception, to the executive drawings, up to the concrete realisation in the shipyard. The knowledge acquired during the master's course will enable them to successfully exercise their profession, entering the production world as freelancers or within the shipbuilding industry, in professional studios or shipyard technical offices and in the management of production and quality control processes.
A degree in architecture, industrial design or related subjects is a fundamental requirement for the selection of candidates. Applications subjects with proven experience in the naval sector will also be evaluated.

The professional figure

The interior yacht designer's task is to develop projects that are aesthetically appealing, but he must know how to combine the creative vein with the practical one, since, like any good architect or engineer, the responsibilities of this profession also concern the safety of the people who will board the vessel, which must both be safe as an environment in which to live, and present all the necessary characteristics for travelling at sea in total safety.
