The market needs professionals capable of designing wedding and ceremony dress collections, Italian Design Institute proposes a full immersion course in which students will acquire specific notions and skills in Wedding Dress Design.

The students will apply the knowledge acquired during the course by developing a final project. Following an outline given by the lecturer, the students will create a portfolio that will serve as a business card for leading haute couture companies.

The aim of the master's degree in bridal fashion and haute couture is to train designers specialised in designing wedding dress collections. The wedding dress is a unique and exclusive garment, designed and conceived for one woman.

The stylist is the one who enhances beauty, the one who makes the most of shapes, strengths and flaws, devising the perfect dress for the perfect day.

Starting with the search for a concept, it continues with the study of anatomical basics, drawing and colouring techniques, then moves on to technical subjects such as graphic design and flat pattern, and finally to the creation of the final collection.

Phases of the course

Propaedeutics: Books + e-learning platform
4-hour introductory online lesson via zoom platform.

Classroom phase: 48 hours of lectures (Monday to Saturday)

Project work: 45 days to develop a project following the outline provided by the teacher

Facilitations
