IN THE CLASSROOM

Training course

The innovative training course in Interior Design with Trend Forecasting & Virtual Reality, in a blended formula, is IDI's revolutionary master's degree that, through up-to-date teaching, sees as purpose the training of young and competent professionals in the field of interior design, capable of fitting out residential and commercial spaces, while choosing furnishing elements, through graphic and computerised representations, without ever losing sight of the trends and tastes prevailing on the market, being themselves called upon to study how to analyse trends through the Trend Forecasting module.During the course, students will acquire historical and technical knowledge on interior design, under the guidance of internationally renowned lecturers, dealing with topics related to art, fashion, communication and architecture in a transversal manner. The Virtual Reality module will then enable students to acquire skills related to the creation of a virtual model that is increasingly in demand and of great emotional impact, as well as functional, in the presentation of a project to the client. During the classroom phase the student will receive all the tools to be able, through an initial analysis and research phase, to develop the project concept and represent it in the best possible way with the communication/presentation tools that will be provided between online and in-presence lessons that will see a constant alternation between theory and practice.

TEACHERS

Veronica Vecci Graduated in Building Engineering-Architecture at the University of Bologna, she collaborated with several design studios before becoming co-founder of AmbiensVR, a platform that brings Virtual Reality to the world of Architecture and Design. The idea of exploiting VR and immersive technologies to help designers make their work easier to read came from a chat with a developer friend, Ennio Pirolo: together they realised that bringing gaming know-how into design could be the answer to a communication problem. Three years after the company was founded, it has clients such as Mediaset, Lube Cucine, eFM, LUISS. Named one of the 10 Female Founders to watch in Italy in 2018, Veronica Vecci currently holds the role of COO at AmbiensVR, dealing in parallel with training in VR and 3D modelling.

Paola Marcolli - Master's degree in Architecture from Milan Polytechnic. She began her career in 1988, even before graduating, working as a photographer and graphic designer in Marketing and Communication. Since 1995, she has worked as an Exhibition Designer, as a consultant to companies for the creation of temporary architecture and exhibition spaces both in Italy and abroad. At the same time, she works as an Interior Designer; an expert in living wellbeing and living design, her approach is first and foremost psychological, through her ability to listen, mediate and interpret her clients' desires and needs. Passionate about environmental psychology, she extends her skills and interests to the field of counselling and environmental psychology. Since 2018 she has been involved in professional training: lecturer in Interior Design, Exhibition Design and certified lecturer for teaching design software such as Arredocad Design.
