Illuminotronica 2017 is the 6th edition of the popular Padua-based event dedicated to light and the most advanced technologies in the lighting sector. The real challenge will be to do better than an edition - the 2016 one - that had broken all previous records.
The target audience of the event is well defined and distinguishes five main categories of interested professionals:
- Architects and Lighting Designers
- Technicians and Designers
- Installers
- Public Administrations
- Buyers
The fair itself was divided into several sectors: Illuminothe area dedicated to lighting and lighting design, which this year will focus specifically on the smart lighting; Tronicawhich will deal with components for lighting, security and home automation systems. Not forgetting Hutfocused on technologies for well-being, safety and comfort in the home.
All in a highly integrated context, capable of connecting the smart home to the smart grids of the smart city.
Padova Fiere hosts Illuminotronica 2017: the Illuminotronica Hut
Over the last couple of decades, electronics has revolutionised the lighting sector, first with LED lights, then with the development of IoT, redefining the technologies placed at the service of the wellbeing and safety of the individual, as well as the community: thus was born the Home & Urban technologies. Padua Trade Fairs will host this event, as usual, at theIlluminotronica Hut starting next 12 October, for 3 days dedicated to innovation and knowledge sharing related to this fascinating sector that is also capable of positively influencing the national economy and employment.
Lighting and Home Automation in the Smart Home
The Italian market for IoT solutions for lighting and Smart Home management is growing at double-digit rates: the outlook is for a boom expected by 2018, with video surveillance, motion sensors and energy efficiency optimisation in lighting systems as driving sectors.
