Gianni Serra's innate creative vocation led him to Milan to attend the Istituto Marangoni in order to
study 'fashion design' and thus later move to Rome where he honed his true passion for
haute couture reaching its zenith with the opening of his own atelier.
In the capital, along with his commitment to the fashion shows of his couture collection, Gianni Serra has
way to cultivate his other great passion, theatre, a field in which he will work with great satisfaction.

The need to transfer the important experience gained in tailoring led him, in 2009, to the creation of
his own p-a-p collection, presented in Milan, which will then be distributed Worldwide and which, on the strength of the
positive press and commercial feedback encouraged him to start a new career path
made of excellent collaborations with brands such as Borsalino and Loro Piana.
Gianni Serra's passion for tailoring led him to acquire the company producing his collection of
p-a-p and it was with STUDIPUNTOZERO that a path began that is still being pursued today
promoting young designers and helping them to become part of the fashion system both in terms of 'product' aspect
than 'image'.
For several years now, in order to further develop the new brands, Gianni Serra, together with Luca and David
Designs at ALEF-LAB, an incubator for independent brands, where not only the 'art direction' of the
project, but designers are provided with fundamental support in the construction and realisation of the
their collections, which, thus perfected, also find within this hub the possibility of being
successfully distributed.
