Despite her young age, Maya De Roo, with almost 17 years of experience in the field, has dedicated her life to the floral world, embodying the Floral Designer par excellence. She designs with extraordinary passion and skillfully creates floral arrangements for events of all kinds, creates works of art during live floral demonstrations at trade fairs or for magazines dedicated to floral art; spreads the most elegant and creative practices of the trade, taking intensive courses and workshops. She takes care of her projects in the smallest details, from the simple bouquet of flowers to the most sumptuous wedding setup. Recently she undertook an interesting collaboration with La Sposa TV, a Sky channel with which she is developing a television format dedicated to the role of flowers in wedding ceremonies. Of Indonesian origins and Dutch nationality, Maya De Roo manages to maintain a sophisticated and commercial style at the same time. Thanks also to the special union between East and West, it does not set boundaries in its works. Very active in Italy and Holland, she has helped to make the most unexpected places flourish in Portugal, Romania, Kuwait and Montecarlo. Finally, her university studies in Arts and Culture, and later in Architecture, allowed her to move between the world of flower design and the fields of fashion, cuisine and fine arts. She loves to collaborate with floral designers and florists from all over the world.
