Training course
Students enrolling in the master's course of IDI is given the opportunity to follow a training course designed as a dynamic laboratory, the shipyard lab. A context in which training is designed to have a theoretical-practical approach, from basic knowledge to technical experimentation. Important for the trainees, in fact, is direct experience, the possibility of touching (hands-on) all the phases of the ship design process.

Italian Design Institute is a concrete possibility to join the shipbuilding industry, in professional studios or shipyard technical offices, or in the management of production and quality control processes.
The IDI course, held in Sabaudia, will enable students to learn everything about the naval design, its history and techniques of shipbuilding, marketing and design communication, nautical rules and regulations, naval interior design, materials and technologies, ergonomics, representation and design techniques, on-board equipment, sailing and deck equipment.
