Master in Garden Design

The aim of the Master in Garden Design is to consolidate the technical and artistic skills of the student in the design of gardens, parks and green areas, in order to create harmonious and fascinating compositions and insert them in a living and natural context. THE'integration with the landscape it is in fact an indispensable principle in green design, which must aim at a perfect fusion between nature and human work. Each of the decorative elements necessary to complete the project must aim to achieve the necessary balance between the vitality of the vegetation and the art of human intervention.

The design phase of this master in full-immersion garden design it is based on the integration between the environment and the needs of the client, between functionality and design choices. All this is essential to find effective and appropriate solutions, able to shape the landscape with elegance and with a constant attention to the relationship between tradition and new trends.

  • Patrizia Pozzi
    Patrizia Pozzi Landscape architect

    Landscape Architect, Patrizia Pozzi develops projects dedicated to the most transversal and interdisciplinary forms of contemporary landscape architecture. She starts very young to work for the FAI and for Italia Nostra. Winner of numerous competitions for the design of public areas and for the redevelopment of parks, 1991 is the owner of an architectural and environmental design studio where she deals with the design of parks and gardens, environmental recovery, rural public and private spaces. It is famous for having developed the artificial hedge furniture line Landscape Furniture, which has been a great success.

  • Pierpaolo Tagliola
    Pierpaolo Tagliola Landscape architect

    Pierpaolo Tagliola has a transversal training in the field of gardens and landscape. Before becoming a landscape architect he collaborated with various nurseries and worked for years in the design of gardens, a passion that he achieved by earning a degree with honors in Agriculture and then a master's degree with honors in Landscape Architecture, at the Polytechnic University of Turin . Consultant of the AG & P studio in Milan, he deals with numerous projects in Italy, Switzerland, China, Russia and Libya. He was executive manager of the Azerbaijan pavilion for AG & P during Expo 2015 and a member of the artistic direction of Franciacorta in bloom and of Festival of gardens.

    Sonia Santella Garden designer and journalist

    Sonia Santella is a garden designer, blogger and freelance journalist. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Stockholm and is currently a member of a Scandinavian landscape research network. He completed his training at theQuasar Design University Institute of Rome, specializing in the design of public and private green spaces. He has been writing specialist articles in landscape architecture for about ten years and cultivates his passion for garden photography by collaborating with Italian and Swedish magazines. In the 2009 he published his first book, entitled Gardens of Sweden. Passion and culture of green from 800 to the present day and in the 2012 Royal gardens of Sweden. An enchanted journey between art and nature.

    Stefano Laprocina Agronomist, CEO Green Profile

    Stefano Laprocina, agronomist and botanical enthusiast, founded in 2008 Green Profile, to promote a green philosophy aimed at the all-round exploration of the concept of green. The aim of the initiative is to make the relationship between man and nature more spontaneous and daily, exploiting its ability to adapt to the most daring architectural structures. The determination to carry out this project is evident from the beginning, when Verde Profilo establishes itself as a company specialized in the design of gardens. The approach towards the sector, usually characterized by a strong traditionalism, has a fresh and innovative cut, based on the concept of usability of the green space.
