The objective of IDI's postgraduate course in Commercial and Residential Lighting Design is to acquire the industry skills necessary for the design of lighting for commercial and residential spaces.

Job opportunities

The Specialisation Course is aimed at architects, engineers, designers and planners. The Lighting Designer specialising in commercial and residential spaces can work as a freelancer, with architecture and design studios or collaborate with lighting shops.

Phases of the course

Preparatory lessons: Texts + online platform
Online classroom phase: 40 hours of online lessons every Tuesday and Friday from 14:00 to 18:00
Project work: 45 days to develop a commercial and/or residential lighting design project following the outline given by the lecturer.

Facilitations

Possibility of financing the enrolment fee Video CV editing and updating for dissemination to companies in the sector at the end of the training course in the candidate's region of preference.

It is possible and advisable to send a portfolio of previous works. The examining commission, considering these elements, will communicate the result of the selection and the admission to the Course by filling the application form.
