An exhibition for Celebrating Simone Micheli's 60th birthday. From 16 to 30 September 2024, the ADI Design Museum in Milan hosts "Simone Micheli. Design Vision. 60 years of life'.reviewing its 35 years of activity in the world of design and architecture and offering total immersion in his creations. Through a selection of products and projects accompanied by images and videos, the exhibition celebrates a career that has made experimentation and sustainability the pillars of this extraordinary Archistar, which Italian Design Institute is proud to have among its outstanding lecturers for its master courses.
In the contemporary debate between form and function, technology and humanity, the voice of Simone Micheli is among the most original and eclectic. His ability to create spaces that combine aesthetics, ethics and sustainability has made him a benchmark in the international design world.
The beginnings of Simone Micheli's career
Born in Tuscany in 1964, Simone Micheli graduated in architecture from the University of Florence and founded his own architectural firm in 1990. In 2003, he created, together with Roberta Colla, the company Simone Micheli Architectural Herowith offices in Florence, Milan, Dubai and other international cities. His work spans several fields, from thearchitecture to interior designfrom graphics to communication, always keeping man and his relationship with space and time at the centre.
Micheli's works are characterised by a strong sense of sustainability and care for the environment, with a continuous search for a balance between aesthetics and functionality. His innovative vision of luxury is not related to opulence or exaggeration, but to a new harmony between man and space, where simplicity becomes true luxury.
